In plain English
Every point spread implies a win probability. The converter looks up that probability in historical data and converts to or from the moneyline price you'd need to break even. Useful for shopping spread vs moneyline markets on the same game.
How to Use the Spread ↔ Moneyline Converter
Pick the Sport (NFL or NBA). Enter EITHER the Spread (as a negative number for the favorite) OR the Moneyline (American odds for the favorite). Typing in one input clears the other.
The calculator returns the equivalent on the opposite axis, the favorite's implied win probability, and the decimal odds for both sides.
Worked example: NFL -3 spread → favorite moneyline ≈ -156, underdog moneyline ≈ +156, favorite win probability 61%. If the sportsbook offers the moneyline at -180 with the spread at -3, the spread is the better price; if the moneyline is at -130, the moneyline is the better price.
