In plain English
You take a multi-pick parlay but slide every spread or total in your favor. Each leg gets easier; the combined price gets worse. The calculator tells you the standard sportsbook price for the configuration and what win rate each leg needs to break even.
How to Use the Teaser Calculator
Pick the Sport (NFL or NBA). Choose Legs (2 through 6 — covers what every major sportsbook offers). Pick the Points Bought — NFL standards are 6, 6.5, or 7; NBA standards are 4, 4.5, or 5.
The calculator returns the industry-standard American teaser price, decimal equivalent, implied win probability, per-leg break-even win rate, and payout on $100.
Worked example: NFL 2-leg 6-point teaser priced at -120. Implied probability ≈ 54.55%. Per-leg break-even ≈ 73.86%. Most teaser legs at -110 to +100 only convert to about 70–72% with the point buy, which is why standard teasers are usually -EV. The exception is the Wong teaser — 2-leg 6-point where both legs cross the NFL key numbers 3 and 7 (-7.5 to -1.5 and +1.5 to +7.5). Historical hit rates on those legs clear the 73.86% bar.
